The 2025 ACM Awards is just around the corner, and the academy has announced their show-opening performance, along with many other artists expected to perform. The 60th ACM Awards takes place on Thursday, May 8, at Ford Center in Frisco, TX.

The show will open with the “Songs of the Decades” medley, which will feature past “Song of the Year” award winners. The medley will feature performances from host Reba McEntire, Clint Black, Dan + Shay, LeAnn Rimes, Wynonna Judd and Sugarland.

There will also be at least three collaborative performances, featuring Jelly Roll and Shaboozey, Brooks & Dunn and Cody Johnson and the Backstreet Boys and Rascal Flatts. The Backstreet Boys made headlines over the past weekend when they performed onstage at Stagecoach Festival with Luke Combs. Combs also performed with Garth Brooks and Good Charlotte.

Several other artists will make what are assumed as individual performances during the ceremony. These artists include:

  • Kelsea Ballerini
  • Eric Church
  • Alan Jackson
  • Miranda Lambert
  • Ella Langley
  • Megan Moroney
  • Blake Shelton
  • Chris Stapleton
  • Zach Top
  • Lainey Wilson

Langley, who has the most ACM Award nominations with nine, and Top both won the “New Female Artist of the Year” and “New Male Artist of the Year” awards, respectively. The Red Clay Strays took home the “New Duo or Group of the Year” award.
