Citizens Park Named Best MLB Park in 2025
The Philadelphia Phillies are home to the MLB’s best fans, and now officially, MLB’s best place to play.
Citizens Bank Park has been named the Best Park in MLB this season, according to USA Today.
A new poll by USA Today crowns Citizens Bank Park as the best park in all of major league baseball! This come as no surprise, has the brotherly love and sisterly affection that radiates from the folks in the stands, allow a fun, enjoyable atmosphere for fans and players alike.
The Bank is also ranked #2 for USA Today’s best baseball stadium food poll.
The study says ‘Ashburn Alley’ is a main draw, packed full of local restaurants and baseball-themed interactive displays, as well as the emphasis on iconic Philadelphia flavors and local culinary traditions.
What is Ashburn Ashley?
Ashburn Alley is the open concourse behind center field at Citizens Bank Park. It is named after Hall of Famer Richie Ashburn, Phillies center fielder from 1948 to 1959, and was also a long time broadcaster for the Phillies from 1963 until his death in September 1997.
Food at Citizens Bank Park in 2025
There are a few new eateries entering Citizens Bank Park this season, they include:
S’mores Quesadilla: Nutella, mini marshmallows, and graham cracker crumble collide in a crispy flour tortilla served with a chocolate dipping sauce. (Section 142)
Kyle’s Cutlets: Chicken cutlet sandwiches feature burrata, crispy fried pepperoni, arugula, and a sweet-and-spicy hot honey drizzle on a roll from New Jersey’s beloved bakery Liscio’s. A portion of proceeds from each sale benefit first responders via Schwarber’s Neighborhood Heroes (a nonprofit founded by designated hitter Kyle Schwarber). Liscio’s hot dog rolls are also a new concessions perk at Citizens Bank Park this year. (Section 142)
Red Velvet Affogato: This winning new combo of red velvet cookies, vanilla ice cream, and perky espresso helps fans make it through the 7th inning stretch. (The Yard, Section 102)
How many games did the Phillies win last year?
Philadelphia had a 95-67 record overall and a 54-27 record in home games last season.
