Two of Philly’s most popular public figures, Lay Bankz and Meatball, are no longer seeing eye to eye, after a marketing strategy to sell merchandise went left.

Ironically, it was all good just a week ago, as Meatball was running a promotion on her website, selling her trendy ‘Ain’t Nuffin’ merchandise using promo code “LAYB”.

How did Lay Bankz & Meatball beef start?

Lay Bankz, hosting over one million followers, posted a picture of Meatball in the driver of a car, shirtless. Her exposed breast caused controversy on the internet which immediately got back to the person pictured.

Meatball let it be known on social media that she did not appreciate seeing that Lay Bankz used a NSFW photo of her to promote Bankz new song.

She quickly took to her Instagram Story on the night of Sunday (Feb. 23), warning Lay Bankz that she had until the next day to take the picture down. Meatball didn’t hold back, saying she was ready to pull up.

“Who ever sitting there, and y’all manage her, would let her post that about me… y’all even weirder, because that girl don’t know me for real for real, from a can of paint.” Meatball said. Her next story asked Lay if she wanted to step in the boxing ring.”Aye Lay Bankz you trying to get in the ring?”

The exhibition could be in the works, as Lay Bankz, agreed to the faceoff.

“Tell Gillie to set it up” Lay Bankz commented.

Lay Bankz then responded to Meatball comments on social media, claimed the Meatball exposed breast was already viral before she reposted it, insisting that the NSFW photo wasn’t that big a deal.

“How you [going to] get mad at me for a picture that was already viral on Twitter..” Bankz said on her Instagram story. “Girl.. you doing the most right now, you mad at me about something that was already viral.. I thought it was funny!”

Some told Lay Bankz to quit while she is ahead, referencing Meatball’s power in the ring, while few seen the ‘system’ from a mile away.

“Man this just Promo for the both of them! Ain’t no Beef for real” datbekee2u commented.
