The Philadelphia Eagles have filled the void left by Kellen Moore’s departure to the New Orleans Saints.

Kevin Patullo has been named the new offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles broke the news via social media. “Kevin Patullo has been named our Offensive Coordinator.” The Eagles social media team announced on Instagram.

Prior to Philly, Patullo spent three seasons with the Indianapolis Colts as a pass game specialist (2020) and wide receivers coach (2018-19), working on the same staff as Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni. The two share a bond in which Nick spoke on. He alludes to Kevin being a huge part of the decision making process before filling the role of OC, which made the role tailor-made for Paltullo.

“[He has been] very important to the success that we’ve had,” Sirianni said earlier this month. “He wears a lot of different hats. Helps me with different things, with head coaching things. I can’t tell you I make a decision without saying to Kevin first, ‘What do you think?’… He’s kind of the same sounding board for Kellen of the offensive side.

“This is eight years with Kevin. That continuity is really important because he knows what I’m thinking in certain situations, how you want things to be taught, all those different things.”

Another OC switch means that quarterback Jalen Hurts will have his fifth different playcaller since entering the league in 2020. Despite the many new faces Hurts has encountered, he has some familiarity, and trust, with his newest playcaller.

“I have a lot of confidence in him and what he’s shown,” Hurts said of Patullo last week. “However, I’ve learned over the years [the offensive coordinator decision] is out of my jurisdiction. So just kind of taking things as they come and trying to go out there and be the best I can be and just learn and evolve.”

A native of Hillsborough, NJ, Patullo attended Western High School in Weston, FL, where he was selected to compete in the Dade-Broward County All-Star Game as a senior in 1998.

Patullo is married to his wife, Nichole. The couple has a daughter, Lauren, and a son, Logan.
