Philadelphia police have made an arrest after a car struck multiple people in the Spring Garden area during the Eagles NFC Championship celebration Sunday night.

Multiple people have been injured after a car crash occurred, and the car was stopped at the intersection of Broad and Ridge streets police reported.

Philadelphia Police Department took to social media to alert citizens that the driver of the vehicle is in custody and that the incident does not seem to be intentional, all while informing people to avoid the area.

A fire truck cutoff traffic as crowds of people can be seen in the area where the crash occurred.

The driver that was taken into custody was a woman wearing a black Eagles jersey. The driver says in attempt to leave the area, people were attempting to remove license plate off the back of her car, causing her to speed up, striking multiple people with her car in the process.
