Rabbi Adam Wohlberg, who officiated the ceremony, told Fox News, “Most of the couples I marry these days met on some kind of dating app. I much prefer the old ways, where you live in the same building, bump into each other, and fall in love.”
The couple’s revealed that their heartwarming love story began at a costume party in a senior living community in Philadelphia nine years ago. It was there that their connection blossomed, leading to a deep bond. Their journey reached its peak on May 19th, when they exchanged vows in a heartfelt ceremony at the same senior living facility where they first met.
There were four generations of Bernie’s family present at the wedding. With their loved ones at their sides, the couple exchanged vows at their senior living facility under a traditional Jewish chuppah. As they began this new chapter in their life together, Bernie and Marjorie were escorted to the ceremony on wheelchairs and exuded joy.
