LG Team Genius Talks Producing after Vocal Surgery + Freestyles!

Philly’s own LG Team Genius stopped by the set to chop it up with DJ Caesar on the 44th installment of Vibin’ Heavy w/ DJ Caesar.

LG talks about her coming of age in the industry, the artists who inspired her to now working and performing with the artists she used to idolize growing up. Fresh from an appearance with Ludacris, LG talks about her performance with her childhood favorite and what we can expect from her in the coming months.

DJ Caesar tasked LG with figuring out who had the ‘Illest Verse’ between Drake, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, and Eminem on ‘Forever’, which was not easy. LG then hit the booth to freestyle over a fire self-produced instrumental! “So I was sitting at home, healing from my vocal surgery. It was like five month I couldn’t do nothing, no money, no music, no nothing” LG Explained. “I couldn’t talk, I couldn’t whisper, I couldn’t rap, so I made this beat right here… it was the only way I could express myself”
