Kelly Rowland has some big shoes to fill as she plays Gladys Knight in the upcoming BET show American Soul. The show chronicles the rise of Soul Train .Knight was one of the first guests on the long-time music program. TMZ captured pictures of Rowland in two retro outfits as she was interviewed and performed as Ms. Knight. When asked by TMZ’s airport camera guy about the role, Rowland said she definitely studied for the part and she’s thrilled to portray an icon.
