In Light Of The #MeToo Movement, Were The Oscars Wrong To Give Kobe Bryant An Award?

This morning, we discussed the Oscars. When Kobe Bryant accepted his award for “Dear Basketball” he took a jab at FOX host Laura Ingraham when he said “some people want basketball players to shut up and dribble.” FOX clapped back reminding people that Kobe once had an issue of his own in 2003 and that in light of the #MeToo movement, Kobe should not receive an Oscar.
