Foxy Brown Calls Out VH1 For Hip Hop Honors Snub

Some of hip-hop’s biggest names were celebrated during VH1’s Hip-Hop Honors tribute show on Monday, but there were a few significant artists missing.

Not one to hold her tongue, rapper Foxy Brown, the original owner of the “Ill Na Na,” took to Instagram to express how she and Lauryn Hill were snubbed from the festivities.

The 37-year-old, who recently received the key to the city of Brooklyn, thanked fans for crying out on their behalf. She also shaded VH1 saying there are higher honors to be won.

No word yet as to why these two women were left out of the conversation (maybe the network feared Lauryn would show up too late).

Misty Copeland To Star In Disney Live’s ‘Nutcracker’

If you’ve never seen Misty Copeland perform live on stage, you will finally get your chance in the comfort of a movie theater.

Our favorite Black ballerina will stay in Disney’s Live-Action ‘Nutcracker’ movie, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Copeland fittingly snagged the lead role in the dance film, marking her first entry into Hollywood.

Looking forward to seeing her on the big screen!

In news that comes as a surprise to no one, Kenya Moore reportedly kicked Porsha Wiliams out of her housewarming, Life & Style reports.

‘RHOA’ star Kenya Moore, allegedly threw Porsha out of her house during a routine squabble with her cast mate.

This incident comes amid rumors that Porsha could be arrested for reportedly assaulting her former worker.

“Kenya got really nasty really quickly with Porsha,” a source says. “She told her she was not invited into her home and that she had to go immediately.”

An insider thinks the drama was amped up just to make the new season of ‘RHOA’ even more exciting.

We’ll take this with a grain of salt, but given their track record, it could be true.
