‘Creed’ starring Michael Bae Jordan, was a box office hit. The movie pulled in $42.1 million during Thanksgiving weekend. Director Ryan Coogler is pleased with the result, having earned more than the $35 million dollar production budget.

Analysts predict the movie could go on to ring in $100 million.

It’s really incredible to see a young black male lead, backed by a young black director, kill the box office like they did.

Cheers to #BlackExcellence!
