Alicia Keys’ Rocking 90s House Party Brings Out Kid N’ Play & More
Swizz Beatz makes great beats, but he throws even better parties! This weekend, Swizz threw his wifey Alicia Keys, the ultimate house party at their sprawling Dean Estate and you won’t believe who showed up in their PJ’s. Not only did he book Kid N’ Play to drop some classic bars on the mic, the 90s duo performed their iconic “Ain’t My Type Of Hype” dance routine with Tisha Campbell- Martin and Adrienne Joi-Johnson. Girl, you know that was your scene!

A few months ago, Alicia threw Swizz and “Coming To America” themed party. It looks like the couple are competing over who can throw the bigger and better get together. We think Swizz took the b-day cake with this one.

While Kanye is probably still trying to understand why it to BET so damn long to honor his musical brilliance, the “Yeezus” rapper is making headlines for his Visionary Award acceptance speech. It always surprises us how Ye’, somehow, manages to squeeze in a mention about his wife Kim Kardashian’s beauty, body or dating history when he actually should just be talking about his genius.
“They say white girls go out and get a rich black dude. But my wife dated broke black dudes. So it’s not about the money,” he joked. When Ye wasn’t being Kim’s number one fan, he dropped gems like: “You can’t be the kid in the back of the classroom with black nail polish. U have to smack the sh*t out of people with your creativity.”
Dame Dash was on hand to present Ye with his award. In case you don’t remember, they were at odds ever since Dame expressed he was a “little tight” at the super producer. While, they seem to be on decent terms, Dash left us feeling a little awkward after he used his introduction time to tell the audience hoe he still has “emotional” problems with Ye.” He also said, his “history with Kanye is I didn’t respect him as a rapper because I was around the greatest rappers … but he has courage.”
Uhm. Ok.

Another Bill Cosby Victim Comes Forward
Another woman has come forward against Bill Cosby, claiming he drugged and raped her.
Cindra Ladd, a
“Don’t you trust me?” Cosby allegedly asked her. “To this day it remains a blur. I have a vague recollection of feeling like I was floating while walking through Times Square and watching some kind of Japanese samurai movie with him. I don’t remember where the theater was nor very much of the evening,” she recalled, detailing the encounter.
“What I do recall, vividly and clearly, is waking up the next morning nude in the bed of his friend’s apartment and seeing Cosby wearing a white terrycloth bathrobe and acting as if there was nothing unusual. It was obvious to me that he had had sex with me. I was horrified, embarrassed and ashamed. There was a mirror above the bed, which shocked me further.”
Ladd says she kept quiet about it because, “the truth deserves to be known.” She added, “I have no plans to sue, I don’t want or need money. I have no plans for a press conference or for doing any interviews.”
Cosby has yet to address the allegations, but he sure knows how to make jokes about them. At a recent comedy show, he told the crowd “be careful when drinking around me.” Oh. Really Sir?

One of our favorite “Love & Hip Hop” couples is doing a whole lot of pushing right now. Yandy Smith is in labor with her fiancé Mendeecees guiding her birth, right by her side (that will make for some really good “LHH” footage).
Mendeecees posted photos of Yandy in her hospital gown on Instagram and she has that look most women have when giving birth — get the camera out of my face. Lol.
