19-year-old Shot in West Philadelphia
A 19-year old man was wounded in the 4700 block of Parkside Avenue just after 7 am this morning. Police say the victim was waiting for a bus with his younger brother, when a gunman showed up, began arguing, and fired three times at the 19-year-old’s leg. The victim’s 14-year-old brother, who witnessed the shooting, was taken from the scene along with his brother. Police say the gunman was wearing a grey mask covering part of his face and fled south on Belmont Avenue.
